Position Details

Responsibilities
- Client Support
- Engage in constructive activities aligned with client goals in the Individual Support Agreement (treatment plan).
- Facilitate community inclusion and support daily living and skill acquisition.
- Provide emotional, behavioral, and mental health support.
- Address personal and medical care needs.
- Crisis Management
- Utilize de-escalation techniques and maintain composure during crises.
- Adaptability
- Work with diverse clients daily and manage a rotating schedule.
- Transportation
- Travel to appointments and activities as needed.
Requirements
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in human services or equivalent education/experience.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and crisis management.
- Familiarity with Chittenden County resources.
- Licensure:
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and acceptable driving record.
- Physical Activity:
- Must enjoy being physically active.
