Direct Support Professional
This role provides specialized clinical support to clients with developmental disabilities and challenging behavioral or psychiatric needs.
Position Details
- Title: Direct Support Professional
- Location: Flexible based on client needs
- Salary: Starting at $20.12/hour
- Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours) or part-time (20–30 hours)

Responsibilities
- Client Support
- Foster a therapeutic environment for clients' physical, medical, and mental health.
- Conduct assessments to identify client strengths and basic needs.
- Respond effectively to crisis situations, using clinical judgment and communication with the client’s care team.
- Documentation and Administration
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including daily activity logs, health documentation, incident reports, and medication logs.
- Transportation and Travel
- Assist clients with travel needs, such as attending appointments or activities.
Requirements
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year in human services or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licensure:
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Availability:
- Flexible schedule to meet client needs, including varied hours.
