Job Title: Sonographer
Location: Glens Falls, NY
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Type: Day Shift
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday – Friday (40 hours scheduled, 30 hours guaranteed)
Weekend Requirements: None (Holiday rotation as needed)
On-Call Requirements: None
Key Responsibilities:
- Breast Imaging: Perform breast ultrasound procedures, including diagnostic and screening exams for patients.
- Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, providing clear communication about the process.
- Image Quality: Produce high-quality ultrasound images and assist radiologists with interpreting results.
- EPIC System: Accurately document patient information and exam results in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the radiology team, including physicians and technicians, to ensure comprehensive care and accurate diagnostic outcomes.
- Compliance: Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile and safe environment.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of current experience as a Breast Sonographer required.
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
- Certifications:
- ARDMS (Ultrasound) certification required.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Breast Registry experience is preferred.
- EPIC Experience: Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system is required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,700.00 - $3,000.00 per week
