Cambria Hotel Downtown Phoenix Convention Center, an upscale hotel is looking for a General Manager to lead and supervise all aspects of the hotel’s operations. The GM is responsible for the daily operational activities of Cambria Hotel Downtown Phoenix.
Responsibilities :
- General Manager needs to be a hands-on manager with strong leadership skill.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights.
- Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization
- Reviews comment cards, guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement. Reviews findings with leadership team and ensures appropriate corrective action is taken.
- Inspect rooms regularly (weekly at a minimum) with both the Housekeeping Manager and Property Engineer.
- Developing and executing new growth directives
- Creates a synergistic leadership team and business environment that consistently delivers positive results and continuously strives to improve these results.
- Working with the Human Resources to develop and implement staff evaluation parameters, assist in creating a positive team-oriented environment which focuses on the guest, through employee development and motivation. Mentor and develop managers for future advancement
- Liaising with departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide operational compliance.
- Keeping track of the company’s revenue margins and conduct budget reviews to maximize profits
