Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering services as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including new cocktails, brewing techniques, and fine dining standards.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with various types of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits is advantageous.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and making accurate change.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently when necessary.
- Experience in banquet or nightclub settings is a plus but not mandatory.
