Cambridge Care and Rehabilition is seeking a full-time Business Office Manager with Medicaid experience to join our team!
The ideal candidate for the position will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of direct experience with the business office processes in Long Term Care/SNF
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, and Private Pay accounts receivable
- Be an effective communicator with experience in all Microsoft Office programs
- Individual must be highly motivated, organized, with a high energy level and be open to ongoing change and improvement
- Excellent follow through until completion of entire accounts receivable aging
- Be able to ensure systems and practices are in place and ensure that all policies and procedures are in compliance
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Accountability for the oversight and completion of the Medicaid application process and the aging for assigned skilled nursing facilities
- Offer direction to the center in determining correct actions needed to resolve problem accounts
- Evaluate high-risk admissions with Admission Directors through the pre-admission screening process
- Provide status reports and develop action plans to resolve outstanding balances
- Understanding of the process of bad-debt, aging, and insurance protocols
