Cambridge College is seeking a full-time Librarian for our location in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The successful candidate will report to the School President.

Responsibilities
- Manage library and instructional resources.
- Able to tutor, administer and monitor computer based exams, such as the TEAS test.
- Perform administrative duties and tasks as needed on campus.
- Assists students in the use of print materials, equipment and technologies by answering questions, offers basic technical assistance, troubleshoots computer problems, assists in navigating the Internet, locates databases in order to help students use library resources.
- Locates materials, answers questions, and refers students to outside resources and collections when appropriate in order to provide information services to students. Competent both to use and to aid in the use of the technologies and resources available in the library.
- Connect students with support services designed to sustain their success.
- Provides guidance and support to student groups.
- Identifies appropriate referral resources for students, often in response to crisis management.
- Performs students engagement and retention activities to help develop students to acheive desired outcomes.
- Work with on the Online Librarian
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
- A professionally trained librarian who holds a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Library or Information Science or State Certification.
- Masters in Library Science Preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Membership with a Library Association.
