Essential Functions:

  • Leadership
    • Direct or coordinate an organization's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
    • Confer with board members, organization officials, or staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, or resolve problems.
    • Direct or coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
    • Provides Senior Level Leadership of departments including Information Technology, Revenue Cycle, Payroll Services, Dietary Services, Rehabilitation Services and Materials Management.
  • Independence
    • Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
    • Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, or to increase productivity.
  • Attention to Detail
    • Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding or implementation of programs.
    • Prepare or present reports concerning activities, expenses, budgets, government statutes or rulings, or other items affecting businesses or program services.
    • Oversight of payroll functions and operational procedures.
  • Analytical Thinking
    • Negotiate or approve contracts or agreements with suppliers, distributors, federal or state agencies, or other organizational entities.
    • Review reports submitted by staff members to recommend approval or to suggest changes.
    • Implement corrective action plans to solve organizational or departmental problems.
    • Coordinate the development or implementation of budgetary control systems, recordkeeping systems, or other administrative control processes.
  • Compliance
    • Promotes and adheres to the provisions of the compliance program.
    • Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the facility.
    • Complies with all organizational polices regarding ethical business practices.
    • Promotes and adheres to the TVHS core values and Standards of Behavior.
    • Yearly submits HUD insured equipment listing to all departments for HUD compliance. 
    • Develop and foster working relationships with internal working counterparts (IT, internal audit, results, accounting, and others) to facilitate productive exchanges of information to improve program efficiency and promote program compliance.

    • Coordinates and controls the annual budget process. 
    • Conduct administrative review of survey outcomes to develop appropriate response.

    • Provides ongoing effective leadership for the overall day to day operations and also insures that TVHS continues to adapt, evolve, and grow to accommodate changes in the healthcare environment.

    • Continuously reviews productivity and efficiency of staff and suggests changes where necessary.
    • Positively represents TVHS to employees while managing budget and staffing levels based on volume.
