Job Overview
Cambridge Village of Wilmington, a resort-style senior living retirement community, is seeking a certified Pool Operator to assist with Wellness Attendant duties. Qualified candidates must have exceptional customer service skills and represent the company in a positive and professional manner when on and off campus.
Responsibilities
- Operates pool and spa according to Health Department requirements.
- Balances chemicals, cleans pool and spa, and ensures all equipment is in working order.
- Performs light housekeeping duties including, but not limited to, laundering towels and cleaning gym equipment, café, and locker room areas.
- Greets and assists residents and members with information, classes, and equipment.
- Answers the telephone in a professional manner, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and/or takes messages.
- Maintains member information in current software.
- Operates blenders and coffee equipment and fulfills orders for smoothies and café items as requested.
Qualifications
- CPR, First Aid, AED within the first three (3) months of hire.
- Certified Pool Operator certification.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, email, and internet
Physical Demands
- Working in aqua and normal office environment, employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, see, speak, and hear.
- May occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
