Applications Manager

Description

• Manage and supervise the performance of business applications.
• Plan and implement upgrades or installation of new applications.
• Identify and resolve problems with applications.
• Coordinate with software providers to ensure regular updates and maintenance.
• Understand user needs and ensure applications meet these needs.
• Train users on the use of applications and create user manuals.
• Monitor the effectiveness of applications using metrics and analytics.
• Work with the IT team to ensure application security and data privacy.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in applications and industry developments.
• User account management and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field or relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of application design and software development life cycle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing Operations, Quality Assurance, etc.)
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest software developments and trends.
• Experience with ERP/MRP/WMS software.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
• Experience with M365 applications.
