Position Summary:
The Treasury Management Sales Advisor I generates treasury management/cash management fee income and deposits from new and existing customers. As part of the bank’s commercial banking division, this position requires collaborating with community bankers, banking centers and other internal bank partners to deliver an emerging suite of Treasury Management and deposit solutions for our small to mid-sized business customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement market sales strategy and plans to achieve goals that include new sales, cross-sell, and retention goals.
Implement profitable Treasury Management deposit and fee income utilizing an omni-channel approach.
Call and manage client portfolio to identify growth potential through cross-sell of treasury and other bank products.
Cultivate and call on referrals from bank partners jointly and independently. Preferred method of sales calls will be via virtual channel (email, phone, and Webex) with minimal calling volume taking place in-person.
Make product and services presentations to prospects and existing customers via Webex, phone, and email.
Make product and services presentations to internal partners as needed to provide updated Treasury Management Small Business training.
Prepare & submit documentation relating to treasury management services and coordinate implementation of new product and services with the Treasury Management Support team.
Prepare and propose product pricing and structuring for customer proposals, ensuring information provided is accurate and comprehensive.
Provide timely and accurate CRM reporting of required sales and business development.
Maintain current and comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, industry trends, competitive environment, and service issues.
Participate and represent Camden National Bank in various community functions and projects to promote the Bank and further develop new business opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2 years of banking experience with a working knowledge of treasury management products and solutions
Understanding of bank financing
Experience managing a portfolio of customers
History of customer development and retention
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in managing a virtual sales process from initial contact through proposal and implementation
Experience with Jack Henry
Has a working knowledge of Webex video conferencing
Proficiency in public speaking skills
Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrate superior professionalism and presence, with the ability to work with all levels of management
Demonstrated sales skills
Ability to lead and influence multiple audiences, within and outside the organization
Superior ability to cultivate and foster relationships with internal and external clients
Ability to achieve goals while working independently
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Strategic planning to generate ideas and execute development of new & existing business
Excellent selling and negotiation skills
