Commercial Analyst

Job Title: Commercial Analyst

Department: Commercial Departments 

Reports to: Vice President of Marketing

We are seeking a full-time Commercial Analyst to help analyze our marketing, revenue, and sales efforts.  This position will assist with leading marketing analysis and develop and implement multiple revenue forecast and pace tools. The ideal candidate will recommend and implement commercial strategies based on analysis to help efficiently meet the resort’s commercial demands. This position requires regular on-site presence.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely, actionable reports centered on commercial segments: marketing, revenue, and sales
• Implement database segmentation for business needs for digital and traditional mail campaigns
• Formulate forecast and pacing tools to better optimize total resort revenues
• Analyze reporting to develop data-based recommendations
• Collaborate with commercial team to form data-driven strategies

Next Level Duties:

• Lead the commercial team analysis efforts and become the “go-to” person on property
• Work with commercial team to continually optimize property revenues, including e-commerce optimization, forecasting, and pace reporting
• Implement conversion tracking on e-commerce
• Work within budget guidelines
• Collaborate with outside agencies and third-party vendors as appropriate

Must Have Personal Qualifications:

• Proven marketing analysis skills and experience analyzing resort revenues, including but not limited to, waterparks, ski, mountain adventures, lodging, and group sales
• Proven project management skills and experience
• Thrives in a competitive environment that celebrates individual and team successes
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
• Proficiency in Microsoft related programs required
• Understanding of Google Analytics (GA4)
• Deep Understanding of Acoustic or SQL for data segmentation
• Must have work schedule flexibility
• Must be innovative yet analytical; a thoughtful communicator who comes from purpose and is undaunted by challenges
• Must be flexible and a self-starter who enjoys collaboration with a wide variety of constituencies
