The Field Sales Manager is a professional outside seller role responsible for driving new business acquisition (Commercial Cleaning Contracts and other Sovereign services) within a defined geographic region. This role requires a disciplined sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, results-driven, self-starter who thrives in a direct sales environment and is committed to achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development – Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory utilizing sales tools such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo, and active engagement in relevant industry/networking groups.
- Direct Sales Execution – Engage in cold calling, face-to-face meetings, networking, and prospecting to generate leads and convert them into long-term clients. Includes creation and execution of impactful business proposals.
- Sales Process Management – Utilize a structured, disciplined sales approach, ensuring consistent follow-ups, pipeline management, and deal closure.
- Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Market Research & Strategy – Analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to develop effective sales strategies.
- Sales Reporting – Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
- Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in direct sales, preferably in B2B services’ environment and/or JanSan industry.
- 3 years of sales experience (outside preferred), with a strong focus on new business development.
- Ability to follow a structured sales process and close deals efficiently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong self-discipline and motivation to drive success independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory. This is a field sales role and requires 3-4 days in the field calling on prospects and customers. Potentially 1-2 overnights per month.
