What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Specialist (Tucson, AZ) position at Cameo Consulting Group, LLC?
Cameo Consulting Group, LLC, a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking multiple experienced Acquisition Specialists to serve a potential Federal Client. The position is on-site at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB).
Duties:
- Provide contract support services including all aspects of both pre-award functions, including market research, providing feedback to the contracting officer and customers, preparing solicitation and other administration documents to support acquisition packages and post administration to closeouts, preparing documents for destruction, and other general administrative tasks, in support of 355 CONS.
- Perform all actions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), the Department of the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DAFFARS) and all other applicable regulations, instructions and policies. The Contractor shall perform all pre-award procurement functions including, but not necessarily limited to; market research, drafting contractual documents such as SOW, PWS and related documentation utilizing the current 355 CONS contract writing system (currently CON IT); coordinating with requiring activities, industry, and other stakeholders; and completing contractual files.
- Perform all post-award procurement functions including, but not necessarily limited to, drafting modifications, coordinating with COR regarding Contractor performance and contract close-out. The contract shall utilize 355 CONS current contract filing system (currently KT FileShare) to store all documents required to be in the contract folder.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. Coursework must have included at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
- The applicant must have experience with a minimum of six (6) or more years of federal and/or commercial acquisition processes.
- Must have a DAWIA Contracting Professional or FAC-C Professional or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret Federal acquisition policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those interpretations fully and legally to all contractual activities.
- Preferred United States Air Force experience but not required.
