- Provide direct supervision of residents in a residential unit, including implementing treatment plans and strategies.
- Monitor and respond to resident behavior, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Assign and supervise residents in daily housekeeping details, maintaining accountability and ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Facilitate cognitive skill groups and teamwork activities, promoting social adjustment and trauma-informed care.
Requirements
- Degree in a related field of criminal justice, psychology, or government, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, with knowledge of Spanish preferred.
- Current Texas Driver's License and automobile insurance.
- Pass a background check and submit to a drug urinalysis pre-screening exam.
