Job Description
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of trust administration, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
- Prepare trust administration documents, including certifications of trust, trustee notifications, and affidavits.
- Handle real property transfers, including grant deeds, affidavits, and related assessor forms.
- Coordinate with trustees, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other professionals throughout the trust administration process.
- Prepare estate valuation reports, asset inventories, and trust funding documentation.
- Assist with trust distributions, including preparing distribution summaries, waivers, and receipts.
- Draft and file probate-related documents as needed.
- Maintain accurate client records, case notes, and deadlines in legal case management software.
- Provide administrative support, including scanning, filing, and organizing trust administration documents.
- Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing legal education.
