These programs include our youth heritage school, adult ESL and computer classes, counseling services in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, domestic violence intervention, and case management for accessing and managing resources in the San Francisco Bay area. We empower community members to build strength and resilience through family-centered programs, and help people learn, heal, and thrive.
Job Summary
The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and supports the organization with the administration and project management of key business initiatives. Responsibilities include: proactively supporting the CEO; acting as a project manager for special projects; ensuring alignment of key strategic priorities; and ensuring key communications are effectively documented and distributed.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Support CEO with administration and project management
- Serve as the primary point of contact and facilitate clear and effective communication between CEO and internal/external stakeholders
- Support organizational development to build company and staff culture
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Prepare draft reports, presentations, and correspondence in support of executive team strategic initiatives
- Monitor progress on strategic initiatives and deliver regularly timed updates to leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board for the CEO
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Project Management
- Oversee key projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Act as a bridge between departments to promote collaboration and alignment
- Identify opportunities for improvements and recommend solutions
- Prepare draft reports, presentations, and correspondence to support executive decision making
Office Administration
- Assist with overall office administration
- When necessary, assist with front desk receptionist duties, such as greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing the reception area
- Other duties may be assigned as needed

- Possesses strong relationship building skills; works to ensure key stakeholder’s inquiries are answered and needs are met in a timely manner.
- Possesses exceptional business writing and verbal skills; able to communicate information and ideas clearly so others understand the message.
- Able to Reason & Think Critically
- Possesses strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills; acts with sound judgment and practical approaches - solution-oriented.
Education & Experience
- Required: Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in an executive support or operational role.
- Required: At least one (1) year of experience in project management.
- Required: HIgh-touch customer service experience.
- Required: Experience working with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel,Powerpoint), Slack and Zoom
- Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Compensation
As a financial steward of public funds, Cameron House is committed to pay equity and transparency. Cameron House offers competitive base salaries aligned with the market midpoint for not-for-profit organizations of similar size. To maintain this commitment, Cameron House does not negotiate salary offers; instead, each offer is carefully calculated using benchmarking data. This is an exempt (salary) role with a pay range of $67,500 - $82,500 a year.
