JOB TITLE: Employee Health Nurse Supervisor
SHIFT: .8 FTE, 64 Hours Bi-Weekly, primarily 1st shift
BENEFITS: This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.
Job Summary/Objective:
Supervises, oversees, and provides employee health services to Cameron employees, volunteers, as well as maintain records and monitor compliance with employee health requirements.
Essential Functions:

- Performs employee health screenings, coordination of titers/lab draws, Mantoux tuberculin skin testing, and the administrations of all CDC recommended vaccinations.
- Maintains employee health files.
- Utilizes time and resources in a prudent manner.
- Maintains all required manuals, creates/updates all policies and procedures in Policy Stat.
- Assists with reporting activities for the Infection Prevention department including daily monitoring of labs for healthcare associated infections and reportable diseases, chart audits, and completion of the CDC Annual TB Risk Assessment.
- Enters vaccinations into the CHIRP system within one week of administration.
- Coordinates and administers the seasonal influenza vaccination program.
- Arranges OSHA respirator health screenings and performs respirator fit testing/PAPR training.
- Effectively communicates with department directors and employees.
- Assists Occupational Health with the coordination and maintenance of the hospital Needlestick/Exposure Protocol including Midas documentation and follow-up monitoring for patients/employees who are exposed to communicable diseases.
- Completes special projects as requested within the scope of Employee Health.
- Attends and participates in department meetings.
- Completes mandatory education, annual employee health requirements, and maintains licensure in good standing.
- Utilizes appropriate standard precautions and protective equipment as needed.
- Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, the survey process, and compliance.
- Helps oversee and ensure nurse coverage for office hours.
- Support alignment of department, staff and personal goals with Cameron’s missions, vision and strategic plan.
- Collaborates and communicates regularly with Manager of the Department.
Qualifications
Must hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana or possess an AS/BSN degree in a medical field licensed in the state of Indiana.
Experience
- 2 years Clinic experience preferred, as well as computer experience are preferred for this role.

- Critical thinking, conflict resolution, organization and effective judgement abilities also required.
- Must have the ability to administer injectable medications with proficiency.
- Must be organized, flexible, professional, confidential, detail-oriented, and possess proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications Required or Preferred
- BLS or ability to obtain within one month of hire
