Summary/Objective
The Executive Director of Community Health Innovation and Partnerships is dynamic, knowledgeable, and results-driven focused on pursuing, building, and managing partnerships with employers and community organizations. The position will focus on developing a Cameron network, negotiating direct contracting, and bringing other health care solution to the market. The Executive Director of Community Health Innovation and Partnerships will develop, manage, educate, and distribute solutions that highlight and benefit the community and Cameron Memorial Community Hospital.
Essential Functions
- Develop, gain experience, and learn the community needs around health plan solutions.
- Manage the approach of education, sales, and partnership-building.
- Secure direct contracts for specific healthcare services (e.g., occupational health, primary care, specialty care, mental health, surgery, etc.) tailored to each employer’s needs.
- Lead negotiations with senior HR, benefits, and finance executives. Own the negotiation process, from initial discussions to final execution, ensuring that deals are structured in a way that meets both financial and operational objectives for both parties.
- Educating the executive team around the benefits to Cameron.
- Collaborate with hospital departments to promote growth of service lines to align with community and employer needs.
- Manage service line integration efficiency that aligns with employer benefits and the needs of the community.
- Oversee the growth of the Occupational Health service line.
- Integrate Occupational Health and the overall strategy of taking care of the community.
- Find opportunities to integrate health care with employers.
- Develop innovative partnerships with like-minded partners.
- Ensure the smooth and successful setup of services, collaborating with internal teams (clinical, operations, legal, and finance) to ensure that service delivery is seamless, efficient, and meets contract specifications. Oversee the end-to-end implementation, ensuring that operational processes, reporting, and metrics are in place to track success.
- Monitor and share the performance of solutions by tracking key metrics.
- Work with employers to continuously optimize the agreement, identifying opportunities for improvements, additional services, or enhancements based on data and feedback.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics in the employee health benefits space. Use market insights to differentiate our offerings and proactively position direct contracting solutions as a superior alternative to traditional insurance models.

Education
- Bachelors or Masters in an applicable area
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years working in health insurance, health care, leadership, or areas of experience for success of the position.
Skills/Competencies
- Able to competently use Windows and Microsoft Office products
- Able to operate CRM software
