Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Secretary in our Middle School. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and managing various clerical tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who possesses excellent time management skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Answering phones and taking messages.
- Handling correspondence (emails, letters, etc.).
- Drafting and sending emails and letters.
- Communicating with parents, students, and staff.
- Maintaining and Managing student records.
- Filing and organizing documents.
- Assisting school staff with various administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Training/experience as an office secretary
- Experience with school information systems preferred
- Proficient with technology (Microsoft platform and Google platform)
- Ability to organize tasks, maintain a schedule and meet deadlines
- Ability to coordinate multiple calendars
- Interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with students, teachers, administrators, and the public
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Confidentiality with regard to the general office and student records
- Flexibility, team player, and strong attention to detail
- Accurate, responsible, creative, enthusiastic, and a self starter

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
