CPA/Income Tax Preparer - Full Time

Cameron Travis & Company, P.C. is looking for Full time CPA's with 5 years public accounting experience to join our firm. Public accounting and tax return preparation desired. Cameron Travis is a full-service accounting and consulting firm. We have provided our high-quality services for over 35 years. Our industry expertise includes real estate, nursing homes, restaurants and professional service providers. As a mid-size local firm, we are heavily involved in the community and provide a personalized experience to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation and research for individual and business tax returns.
• Preparation of financial statements (GAAP experience).
• Analyze financial information and make recommendations for year-end adjustments to business clients.
• Assist on audits as deemed necessary.
• Communicate with clients and other interested parties.
• Stay up to date on current tax laws and relevant changes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years tax preparation experience (1040, 1120, 1065, 990 etc.)
• Strong attention to detail, goal oriented, professional, works well under deadlines.
• Work independently and efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at the same time.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
