Cameron Travis & Company, P.C. is looking for Full and Part Time Tax Preparers with 3-4 years public accounting experience to join our firm. Public accounting and tax return preparation desired. Cameron Travis is a full-service accounting and consulting firm. We have provided our high-quality services for over 35 years. Our industry expertise includes real estate, nursing homes, restaurants and professional service providers. As a mid-size local firm, we are heavily involved in the community and provide a personalized experience to our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation and research for individual and business tax returns.
- Preparation of financial statements (GAAP experience).
- Analyze financial information and make recommendations for year-end adjustments to business clients.
- Assist on audits as deemed necessary.
- Communicate with clients and other interested parties.
- Stay up to date on current tax laws and relevant changes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-4 years tax preparation experience (1040, 1120, 1065, 990 etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, goal oriented, professional, works well under deadlines.
- Work independently and efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at the same time.
