How you will contribute to our TEAM:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Utilize construction estimating software such as Heavy Bid to create detailed estimates
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure budget adherence
- Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding cost-control measures
- Collaborate with clients to address any concerns or questions related to project costs
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Hospitality and Retail experience
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software, such as Heavy Bid
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
Familiarity with construction management processes and procedures
Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications accurately
