Child Care Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will engage with young learners, fostering their development through educational activities and play. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Supervise and engage children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
• Conduct assessments to monitor children's development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Provide first aid as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

• Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively.
• Proficient in planning engaging activities that cater to various learning styles.
• First aid certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain is necessary.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A nurturing attitude with the ability to build trusting relationships with children.
