Located on the shores of Lake Ontario in Oswego, NY, Camp Hollis is looking for enthusiastic camp staff for the 2025 Camp Season. Positions (including dates of employment and salary) are outlined below:

Duties:
- Staff live at the camp during our work week (Sunday evening to Friday night). Staff has each weekend off and one weekday evening off per week.
- Most staff live in cabins with campers and are responsible for their well-being and care.
- Typical camp days are spent preparing activities for the camper, eating meals with them and participating in all activities.
- Duties normally run from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. each camp day.

- All room and meals/snacks are provided by the camp.
- Earn college credit and receive pay through our college intern program.
- Successful completion of work provides staff with an excellent source for letters of recommendations or to include on a resume.

Counselors:

- Salary Range:
- $4,340 (plus room and board)
- Dates of Employment: 8 Weeks: June 22nd - August 15th (requires residency Sunday - Friday)
Qualifications:
*Must be at least 17 years of age, with organized camp, recreation or childcare experience.
Lifeguard/Counselor:
- Teach swimming skills
- Plan and lead water games
- Work as a team member to create programs for elementary school aged children
- Develop excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Earn college credit while you are being paid!
- Make a difference in a child's life
- Salary Range:
- $4,424 (plus room and board)
- Dates of Employment: 8 Weeks: June 22nd - August 15th (requires residency Sunday - Friday)
- Ability to lifeguard before camp starts, weekends during camp and after camp ends for rental groups
Qualifications:
*Must be at least 17 years of age, have current lifesaving and CPR certificates and experience in recreation or childcare.
**Camp Hollis may pay for the certification of any candidate who is hired for summer employment.

Senior Kitchen Helper/Counselor:
- Performing basic kitchen and clean up duties
- Helping to prepare meals for the campers and staff
- Serving meals to campers and staff
- Be a positive role model for children between the ages of 8 and 14 years old
- Provide cabin supervision, assuring the campers are safe and working as a team and that the cabin is clean
- When not in the kitchen participate in group activities in program areas
- Salary Range:
- $4,480 (plus room and board)
- Dates of Employment:
8 Weeks: June 22nd - August 15th (requires residency Sunday - Friday)
Qualifications:
*Must be at least 17 years of age with kitchen work and childcare experience.
