If your a seasoned groomer and want something a little out of the ordinary day, we have a managing / training position for you, that we will train you for.
```Duties:```
- Provide grooming services to many different breeds of dogs
- Perform bathing, brushing, and haircutting according to client specifications
- Trim nails and clean ears of pets
-Provide a thorough hands-on pet check-in and check-out process for each pet and pet parent.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
-Grooming tools and equipment in good working condition.
-Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
```Experience:```
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
Skills:
- To identify any health issues or concerns during grooming
- Animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the pet and groomer
- Pet care knowledge to provide proper nutrition, exercise, and overall well-being recommendations to pet owners
- Dog handling skills to manage different temperaments and behaviors during grooming sessions
- Excellent customer service skills to address client requests and concerns professionally
- Experience in pet sitting or dog training is a plus
