About the Role:
Camp Lakota, a premier co-ed sleepaway camp in Wurtsboro, NY, is seeking licensed physicians (MD, DO) to join our Health Center team for one-week sessions during Summer 2025! This is a fantastic opportunity to experience camp life, practice medicine in a relaxed outdoor setting, and enjoy a summer adventure.
As our Camp Doctor, you’ll work alongside a team of nurses, EMTs, and support staff to provide medical care to campers and staff. Your role will primarily focus on:
✅ Managing minor illnesses, injuries, and common camp-related medical issues.
✅ Overseeing medication distribution and medical recordkeeping.
✅ Acting as the primary contact for any emergency medical situations.
✅ Providing health guidance to campers and staff.
