Company Description
Camp Long Lake, located in Saint Cloud, WI, is a 200-acre camp on Long Lake within the Kettle Moraine National Forest. Owned and operated by the Potawatomi Area Council of Scouting America, the camp serves over 800 campers each summer with adventurous programs including climbing, zip-line, swimming, boating, shooting sports, trades, citizenship, and more. Camp operates from June 15 to August 11.
Role Description
This is a full-time summer role as a Kitchen Staff at Camp Long Lake. Kitchen Staff are responsible for working under the supervision of the Camp Cooks to prepare, execute, and clean for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our campers. Camp Long Lake utilizes an industrial kitchen with many standard bulk appliances designed for large-scale cooking and cleaning. Hours are under the guidance of the Camp Cooks with the option for free room and board in our cabins. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food safety practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Food handler's certification is a plus (otherwise will be provided)
