Located on 186 acres in southwest Tulsa, Camp Loughridge is a not-for-profit organization that operates a Christian summer day camp rich in history and tradition.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, dynamic leader to oversee the summer camp staff, support daily operations, and embody the camp's mission of guiding children and staff in their walk with Christ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of counselors to ensure a safe, supportive, and fun environment for campers.
- Model Christian values through daily interactions, worship, and activities, inspiring both campers and staff to deepen their faith.
- Oversee the planning and execution of camp activities, ensuring alignment with the camp's spiritual and recreational goals.
- Act as a key point of contact for counselors, providing guidance, conflict resolution, and support as needed.
- Coordinate with the summer camp directors to ensure adherence to camp policies, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or unexpected situations.
Qualifications:
- At least 20 years of age
- A strong, active Christian faith and a commitment to the camp’s mission.
- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a camp, ministry, or youth-focused environment.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for working with youth and guiding their spiritual and personal growth.
