For our High-Energy, High Volume, Full-Service RV Resort we are searching for candidates with the qualifications/experience listed below.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform mechanical repairs on machinery and equipment as required.
- Utilize electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Operate an ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits and components.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs or modifications.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic quality.
- Work with logic controllers for automated systems troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform routine inspections of all hotel equipment, systems, and facilities (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, elevators, etc.).
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, light fixture replacements, painting, and general repairs.
- Respond to maintenance requests from hotel guests and staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues with hotel systems.
- Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance practices.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately to the Hotel Engineer.
- Perform basic groundskeeping tasks as needed, such as clearing debris or maintaining outdoor lighting.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining equipment for banquet events and hotel functions.
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruption to guests.
- Participate in emergency preparedness procedures and assist in handling hotel-wide emergencies (e.g., power outages, water leaks, etc.).
- Maintain records of all maintenance work and repairs, including materials used and time spent.
- General knowledge of pool systems water testing, cleaning, logging, chemicals and upkeep.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in maintenance preferred.
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance roles.
- Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Knowledge of residential painting practices is a plus.
- Understanding of logic controllers for automated systems is beneficial.
- Supervisory experience is an advantage for overseeing projects or teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
