CAMPGROUND SUPERVISOR- SEASONAL ROLE
Summary of Position
Oversee the Campgrounds to ensure they are effectively maintained to protect the natural environment and lead the guest services team to ensure a pleasurable experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the camp hosts in an effective and professional manner to ensure they are properly trained and understand that their job duties
- Ensure that camping and vehicle fees are collected and reported in a timely and accurate manner as applicable
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of bathrooms, camp sites, fire rings and any other assigned areas in a manner consistent with company expectations and to provide an exceptional guest experience
- Ensure that trash is disposed of and that the appropriate (animal-proof) receptacles are maintained
- Report needed building or campground repairs to the maintenance team to ensure awareness and timely completion of repair projects
- Ensure the campgrounds are always clean and appropriately maintained, and the required landscaping priorities are completed in a professional, timely and thorough manner
- Ensure the safety of associates and guests related to wildlife encounters
- Other duties as requested which may involve parking management and similar responsibilities
Requirements
- Possess upbeat and professional verbal and written communication skills and able to lead a team of associates
- Must be organized and able to create and manage labor schedules
- Must represent the Company in a professional manner by wearing a company uniform, name badge, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 25-30 pounds occasionally
- Understand basic math for cash handling and reporting
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat and stand on feet for up to 8-10 hours per day
Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum one-two (1-2) years management and customer service experience
Hourly Associates: $20/hr
