Position Overview:
We’re searching for a results-driven, highly experienced Director of Wholesale Sales to lead and grow our national presence across specialty retail channels, including:
- Specialty Stores
- Boutiques
- Coffee Shops & Convenience Stores
- Bicycle Shops
- Gift shops
- And beyond
This role demands a proven leader with a track record of building significant wholesale partnerships and driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth. If you’ve done this before, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Experience: 10 years of sales leadership with a focus on wholesale to independent retailers.
- Proven Results: A demonstrated history of building a $5M annual book of business.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: A self-starter attitude with a “no BS” approach to achieving ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute wholesale strategies to expand Camp Snap’s market share across the U.S.
- Identify and prioritize retail segments to optimize growth opportunities.
2.Revenue Growth
- Drive top-line revenue by establishing pricing, promotional plans, and sales strategies tailored to regional needs.
- Open doors to new partnerships, nurturing relationships with specialty retailers and non-traditional sales channels.
3. Finding and Attending Trade Shows
- Find and manage attending of trade shows where independent retailers will see our products
4.Market Development
- Conduct market research to assess trends, customer demands, and competitive activity.
- Use insights to inform strategies and ensure alignment with company goals.
5.Team Building
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a sales team or multi-line reps to support growth.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on results and continuous improvement.
6.Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product development, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure seamless product delivery and support for wholesale partners.
7.Reporting & Forecasting
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance metrics, and actionable insights to senior leadership.
8.Travel
- Willingness and ability to travel across the U.S. to meet partners and support growth initiatives.
