As a member of our administrative team, you will assist in camp life's daily and ongoing running. Most importantly, you are an entertainer, supporter, friend, big sister/brother, and confidant!
As a Program Director, you are responsible for organizing the daily activity schedule of about seventy staff members. This position works alongside the unit directors and program director and receives support from the counselors to accomplish these events.
As a Trip Director, do you have knowledge of camping trips and organizing them? Do you like to collaborate with others and teach campers? This job involves organizing food and gear for overnight to one-week trips, driving groups to and from amazing locations, and helping to keep our community and program running.
Our campers join us for 3.5 or 7. weeks at a time, and most campers start around eight years of age and stay with us through young staff members. This gives us an incredible opportunity to be impactful in the lives of both children and staff. After almost 80 years of business, Thunderbird is a great resume builder and has an enormous alumni base that spans all different fields.
