Summer camp looking for a detail oriented and well organized housekeeper to help for clean, organize, and Garden through the year. Summer season will focus mainly on camp laundry, fall transition into cabin turn overs, housekeeping, and gardening.

Job Description
Camp Housekeeper maintains the cleanliness and readiness of all camp facilities with a primary focus on cabins, laundry, laundry room, bathrooms, and shower room. Candidate must possess exceptional eye for detail and display a hands-on approach to cleaning. Candidate must also possess a flexible leadership style to accept, manage and execute changes in daily routine with competing priorities. Ability to work alone and self motivate a must.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver a first-class customer experience by ensuring that all cabins and camp facilities are clean, stocked, and ready for guest use.
- Complete quality assurance inspections prior to guest arrival in rental cabins.
- Communicate effectively and schedule maintenance on all cabins as needed.
- Create and maintain an inventory of all supplies and materials for use in Cabins.
- Pick up any garbage and debris from cabins/grounds and transport to and place in garbage/recycling/compost receptacles.
- Follow checklist for cleaning and maintaining cabins.
- Ability to multitask, start laundry for one unit while cleaning and organizing others.
- Keep laundry room/guest space clean and organized.
Work Environment:
- Work is mostly performed outdoors and in all weather conditions.
- Cleaning duties include cabins, kitchenette, laundry room, shower room, bathrooms, storage space, and outdoor grounds.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, squat, and crawl in a lying position.
- Must be able to easily and regularly squat, sit on knees and regain a standing position without assistance.
- Lift in excess of 50lbs.
- Ability to walk up and down steep driveway with supplies.
Qualifications:
- Laundry experience
- Cleaning skills
- Dry cleaning knowledge
- Previous hotel experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a camp setting
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
Experience:
- Personal Housekeepers: 1 year (Preferred)
