Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Complete payroll cycle for approx. 572 Employees (union & non-union): process and ensure accuracy of weekly and bi-weekly payrolls. Create batches, manual checks, update PTO accruals when necessary. Review timesheets, approve time-off, setup garnishments and other special payroll deductions.
- Preview payroll and check entries for correctness.
- Accurately process and promptly hand off a clean payroll to the Manager for review. After the Manager's audit, make any necessary corrections as requested to ensure the final payroll is precise and compliant.
- Maintain payroll support documentation including downloads of notices, filings, and other reports produced by ADP.
- Process new hires in ADP, review all required documentation for payroll, and contact the employee if necessary to ensure the paperwork is complete and compliant with state and federal regulations.
- Establish and maintain employee records; process employee changes accurately and timely; review changes for proper authorization and compliance with Company policy, the union contract, and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Administer payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now); research and resolve problems; perform scheduled activities, iReports, Assist Employees with portal security matters.
- File maintenance of YTD hours/earnings report, YTD shadow, 401K reports, all logs.
- Prepare vendor payments for Union Employees. Prepare weekly Union journal entries.
- Assist in preparation and review W2s, shadow payroll for international assignees, 401k contributions, including amendments as needed
- Administer employee Credit Card programs. Fully oversee the employee credit card program (including reconciliation) the Concur flow/management as Company admin and the communication with American Express and employees, review overdue Credit Cards accounts. Manage credit card cancellations, support the requests for new cards and the proper new hires setup for T&E processing and bank changes for out of pocket T&E payment correctness, support with Credit Card limit increases, review payment proposals and their postings, reconcile accounts upon employee request, monitor the Corporate Credit Cards aging, oversee the operative tasks performed by the external Shared Service Center over credit cards.

Experience Required
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience with payroll processing, using ADP Workforce Now
Education / Professional Qualifications
- B.S. Accounting, Finance, or Business.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $79,000-$95,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations. In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
