OVERVIEW OF POSITION :
The Advancement Associate is a vital member of the Advancement team, responsible for managing general office functions, providing administrative support to the Director of Advancement, and contributing to the planning and execution of the school's fundraising and community-building events. This role takes the lead in organizing and managing the annual spring gala auction and collaborates closely with the Constituent Events Manager and Special Events Manager on a wide range of events. Additionally, the Advancement Associate works cross-departmentally and partners with parent volunteers to ensure the success of various initiatives that support the school's mission and community.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Administrative Support (40%)
- Provides administrative support to the Director of Advancement including correspondence, calendaring, expense management, and other tasks
- Provides administrative and meeting support to the Campbell Hall Advancement Committee
- Orders office supplies for the Advancement Department
- Maintains the ACAL 3rd floor kitchen, including daily upkeep and monthly supply orders
- Coordinates departmental meetings and events
- Supports the Director of Advancement and departmental colleagues in development and production of reports, marketing collateral, and other materials as needed
- Supports the Database Manager with mail sorting and check / envelope scanning
- Provides back-up support to the Database Manager and Associate Annual Giving Manager for gift acknowledgement letter printing and circulation
- Provides general campaign and donor stewardship support as needed, including production of invitations, nametags, and gift items
- Makes security and parking arrangements for Advancement guests
- Assists departmental and non-departmental colleagues with scheduling the CH Boardroom
- Participates on the Campbell Hall Emergency Response Team (CHERP) team as assigned
- Fulfills other duties as assigned

This is a non-exempt role, eligible for overtime after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week at 1.5 times the designated rate.
