Position Summary:
This position supports university and CPHS planning, assessment, and accreditation efforts by collaborating with officials to document evidence and providing training for reporting processes. It coordinates professional development for CPHS faculty, offers guidance on educational research, program evaluations, psychometrics, and oversees faculty teaching evaluations. For the PharmD program, the role co-chairs the PharmD Assessment Committee, collaborates on developing the assessment plan, and works with academic units to assess co-curricular outcomes. Additionally, it provides data reporting, psychometric analysis, and ensures alignment with accreditation standards and professional expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
University
- Works with university officials to collect, analyze and document evidence related to university planning and assessment activities.
- Acts as liaison between University’s Academic Assessment Committee and CPHS programs.
- Provides support and training to CPHS for University annual reporting processes.
CPHS
- Coordinates professional development training for CPHS faculty and staff through Assessment Days.
- Provides guidance on educational research, quality improvement projects, and program evaluations
- Provides guidance on assessment, evaluation, and psychometrics to support CPHS programs.
- Oversees faculty teaching evaluations and assists with accreditation and strategic planning efforts.
PharmD Program
- Serves on the Pharmacy Leadership Committee and co-chairs the PharmD Assessment Committee.
- Collaborates with Academic Affairs and the PharmD Assessment Committee to develop and evaluate the PharmD assessment plan.
- Works with academic support units to develop and assess co-curricular outcomes.
- Supports the Associate Dean in creating psychometric and statistical models to measure program impact on student success.
- Provides reporting and data visualization for Academic Affairs.
- Evaluates practices to ensure alignment with accreditation standards, professional expectations, and trends in pharmacy.
Education/Experience:
Master’s degree in education, Higher Education, Psychology, Educational Research, or related field.
Previous experience with assessment in higher education.
Experience in a higher education or non-profit sector desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in assessing student learning using both quantitative and qualitative methods, including program outcome assessment
Experienced with regional and professional accreditation processes and assessing student-learning outcomes.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and tools like Qualtrics, with the ability to learn new technologies
Demonstrates professionalism, tact, and discretion when interacting with faculty, staff, and students; works effectively both independently and in diverse teams
Capable of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and adapting to a changing environment while upholding the Christian mission of Campbell University
