Job Title: Accounting Clerk
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to support our dealership with various accounting related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify deal paperwork for thoroughness and accuracy before processing.
- Verify key data between deal paperwork and system, and communicate with dealership personnel to resolve discrepancies.
- Sort daily mail and obtain General Manager approval on invoices before sending for processing.
- Act as liaison between dealership and Accounting hub to ensure accurate payroll and timekeeping information prior to processing.
- Scan daily check deposits and make occasional trips to the bank with cash deposits.
- E nsure that all payment information is accurately recorded by department personnel.
Requirements:
- Diligent, organized, and extremely detail-oriented individual.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Intermediate computer knowledge with MS Office, including Excel, accuracy with 10-key pad, and typing skills.
- Self-motivated, able to effectively prioritize tasks, and organize schedule.
- Knowledge of auto dealership accounting systems (IDS, ADP, Reynolds & Reynolds) is helpful but not necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and demands.
- May be required to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.
