What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Manager position at Campos NACC Construction?
We are continuing to grow and are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our NACC Construction team. This will be a hybrid position located at our Campos corporate offices in downtown Denver and will require regular in-office presence and less than 25% travel.
OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the company achieves the best value for money while procuring goods and services from vendors and distributors.
Negotiate contracts and deals with sellers to promote maximum cost savings in the sourcing and supply chain management system.
Devise and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's goals.
Adhere to applicable legal frameworks and regulations while negotiating with distributors and vendors.
Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain ethical procurement practices.
Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers for procurement and material management.
Document, log, and report procurement activities.
Approve purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
PURCHASING
Onboarding vendors and validating compliance with Campos vendor policies
Interacting with infrastructure disciplines to construct and issue Vendor RFQ packages.
Evaluating services and material quotes and making purchase recommendations.
Issuing Purchase, Work, and Change Orders to Vendors (utilizing Deltek Software).
Managing warranty and back charge issues as applicable.
Providing Month End Reporting on Status for Accrual and Tracking Purposes
EXPEDITING / SOURCE INSPECTION
Coordinating with vendors to meet order requirements and deliverables.
Acting as a liaison between vendors and infrastructure disciplines.
Conducting office and field expediting of orders, including contacting and visiting vendors as required.
Reporting status updates for project order progress.
Maintaining vendor document submittals and ensuring in-house review and approval.
Updating material tracking reports and Material Test Report project databases for Final deliverables.
LOGISTICS / MATERIAL CONTROL
Responsible for the safe care, custody, and control of equipment / materials throughout loading, transport, and storage.
Managing identification and recording of damages, repairs, maintenance, and shortages in coordination with field support.
Handling required transportation documents and services.
Assisting the project team in activities related to field scheduling needs.
Generating material progress reports and ensuring systematic tracking.
Issuing final field material receipt acceptance certificates.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field.
5 years of procurement experience
Prior experience in procurement management
Prior experience with oil and gas or construction
Prior experience with Deltek
SALARY RANGE : $130K-$150K
SKILLS
Attention to detail.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience working with vendors, suppliers, or managing a team of procurement professionals.
Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
WORK CONDITION REQUIREMENTS
Flexibility to work beyond 8 hours and support West Coast projects as needed.
