This Desktop Technician role involves providing technical support for desktop software, hardware, and network-related issues to faculty, staff, and students. The successful candidate will work closely with the onsite Desktop Lead to deliver high-quality technical support services.
This Desktop Technician role involves providing technical support for desktop software, hardware, and network-related issues to faculty, staff, and students. The successful candidate will work closely with the onsite Desktop Lead to deliver high-quality technical support services.
Main Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repairs laptop/desktop computers and related peripherals.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots hardware, software, network, and system issues effectively.
- Installs, sets-up, tests, and troubleshoots non-computer IT equipment such as media, video, and phone systems in classrooms and on campus.
Key Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of related experience in supporting personal computer hardware, software, peripherals, servers, printers, scanners, and classroom audiovisual technology.
