What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Maintenance Technician position at Camson Properties?
We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility and functionality of the premises of a multifamily residential property. This position will be best filled with a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will work well alone and teamed up all while observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings, grounds and common areas in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate well with other technicians and co-workers
- Report to the Property Manager
- Perform repairs in occupied and vacant unit, i.e., plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, change bulbs, change filters, etc.
- Perform maintenance task as needed by residents' and property manager
- Perform performative maintenance task such as changing filters, testing smoke alarms, etc.
- Working knowledge of hand help and power tools
- Painting experience
- HVAC experience
Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent; certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field would be a plus
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC and other systems
- Physical strength and stamina with the ability to lift/move any heavy objects, i.e., appliances
- Physical stamina and problem-solving skills
- A valid-driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
