Position Overview
As an Electrician, you will perform maintenance, repairs, continuous improvements, and new installations on plant equipment and machinery. Your expertise in troubleshooting and your commitment to safety will ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using safe electrical techniques, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Perform related mechanical tasks as needed.
- Safely complete wiring projects and installations per electrical schematics and documentation.
- Respond to maintenance requests, prioritize tasks to maximize uptime, and verify equipment functionality.
- Maintain required tools, including electrical meters and diagnostic devices, and use them to define and resolve problem areas.
- Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs, recommending improvements where applicable.
- Update drawings, suggest spare parts, install conduit / power drops, and build panels professionally per schematics.
- Follow all safety protocols and government regulations for high-voltage circuits and powered equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.
