About the Position:
We are looking for a driven, talented, and personable individual to take on the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Southwestern USA, specifically California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado) The ideal candidate will be based in their territory preferably in Nevada. This role is for an individual with experience in business to business (B2B) sales who will represent Canature WaterGroup to our network of water dealers and is passionate about sales and creating long term relationships while providing customers with exceptional value for their hard-earned dollar. This position requires extensive (up to 60%) travel, including overnights within the assigned territory.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position will require extensive travel in order to manage a sales territory in order to prospect and acquire new customer and continue to grow and maintain existing customers. This role will also be responsible for leading product training and education to our dealer customer base in the assigned territory. This position relies on broad sales experience and judgement to plan and accomplish sales goals as well as a demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals to achieve revenue targets. The Regional Sales Manager will need to collaborate with various team members in order to deliver on our mission of exceptional customer service. Some specifics tasks this role is responsible for includes:
- Achieve sales targets as established by the organization.
- Frequent travel within the assigned territory (up to 60%), including overnight travel
- Build and support relationships with key customers, business partners and industry associations to provide winning value and optimize go-to market strategies and priorities
- Responsible for implementing an effective account management strategy geared towards exceeding growth expectations, improving customer service, and strengthening the brand.
- Prospect and develop new customers
- Focus sales efforts by calling on current customers throughout the assigned sales area
- Submitting sales activity and results reporting via Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner; daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual territory analysis and forecasting.
- Perform product orientations, training and execute corporate promotions throughout the sales territory.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education.
- Attends tradeshows, professional seminars, and internal company events.
- Being technically proficient and mechanically inclined. Must be able to assist water treatment professionals with technical questions related to applications, equipment installations, etc.
About you:
- 5-7 years of demonstrated B2B sales experience
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time within the assigned territory
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Valid drivers license required
- Post-secondary education in business or related field or combination of education and previous professional sales experience will be considered
- Experience, knowledge and current relationships in the water treatment and plumbing industry considered an asset
- Professional outside sales experience with a focus on B2B sales
- Knowledge of CRM system, preferably Salesforce
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Must be a team player with a positive and professional attitude
- Superior customer service skills.
- Tech savvy with proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products, and Google sheets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Superior ability to build and grow business relationships
- Self motivated with excellent time management skills
- A quick learner who adapts well to change
- Able to work independently, make solid decisions and work as part of a team
