In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, preparation and processing of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports, as well as light office administrative duties. Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry for accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare & process invoices and purchase orders
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Assist with quarter & year-end closing procedures
- Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting & forecasting activities
- Manage office administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and organizing files.
- Communicate effectively with team members and vendors regarding financial matters
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
