What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Retirement Plan Consultant position at Candidate Experience site?
As a Cetera Associate Retirement Plan Consultant, you will partner with our territory based Qualified Retirement Plan Consultants to focus on the implementation of our programs and services, driving sales of employer sponsored plans. This is accomplished by proactively and reactively working with our advisors through phone and web-based meetings drawing on extensive product knowledge, industry insights, and our retirement plan resources. This role will support our sales team with issue resolution along with outbound efforts for various campaigns.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between the Retirement Consultants and our Platform Team calling out to financial advisors to resolve operational issues
- Educate advisors around the benefits and program requirements of leveraging our ERISA Advice and Consulting Program and 3(38) Solution and program requirements
- Assist Retirement Consultants with proposal generation for qualified plans coordinating with the sales desks of our recordkeeping partners
- Respond to inbound inquiries from our advisors around the technical aspects of employer sponsored plans
- Work alongside the Retirement Plan Consultants in outbound efforts for various campaigns
- Actively participate in industry conferences and seminars to remain current with retirement plan industry trends and provide insights to advisors
- Productively work together and collaborate with other home office departments
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years with a focus in the retirement plan industry (401k, etc.)
- Licenses preferred: Series 6/7/63/65/66
- Designations or qualifications preferred AIF, CRPS, C(k)P or other retirement industry specific designations
- Microsoft Office (required), Salesforce.com (preferred)
- Ideal candidate would have experience in an advisor facing role within a broker-dealer, DCIO asset manager, Recordkeeper
- Be able to travel to conferences (up to 5%)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, customer focused attitude and demeanor with a desire to provide outstanding service.
- Work well in groups and have good problem-solving skills.

Compensation: The base annual salary range for this role is $85,000 - $90,000 plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
