The CWMG Regional Growth team is adding a Business Management Consultant to work with our independently owned financial services firms affiliated with Cetera to provide advice and counsel on financial health, debt and equity strategies, business expansion, long-term incentives, business valuation and cash flow projections for their businesses. Located in St. Paul, MN, this role partners with a team dedicated to serving a region and assisting those advisors continue to grow their business.
What you will do:
- Consult with Managing Partners, Regional Directors & CFOs on financial health, debt and equity strategies, business expansion, long-term incentives, business valuation and cash flow projections for their businesses
- Negotiate with Firm Leaders to design risk appropriate financing plans for both new & experienced financial professionals
- Provide design, analysis, modeling & build of Financial Professional compensation
- Facilitate firm and financial professional succession planning through financial consulting, including financial valuation and/or analysis of financial and potential deal structures
- Structure and negotiate debt arrangements.
- Participate in the recruiting and selection process of Firms or Firm Leaders, including build of financial packages, business set up within Cetera relationship, & ensure Firm readiness to join Cetera
- Establish metrics and measure results for strategic investments
- Conceptualize and design financial tools for use by the Firm Financial Professionals
- Provide guidance and expertise in the use of Cetera Firm partner financial tools
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. CPA is Preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis.
- Series 7, 24, 66 required, or acquisition within six months of start.
- Highly motivated with experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to extract, manipulate, and turn large sets of data into actionable insights.
- Experience using large financial reporting systems preferred
Travel Requirements: Up to 25%
Compensation: The base annual salary range for this role is $125,000 to $145,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
