What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician- General Surgery- Atrium Health Lake Norman (Cornelius, NC) position at Candidate Experience site?
The Department of Surgery at Atrium Health, is seeking a General Surgeon for Atrium Health General Surgery Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC. This new practice currently will consist of two full time surgeons, two APPs and a full office staff. Surgeons will partner with two existing Atrium Health Acute Care Surgery teams in the area. We are looking for someone with a team mindset, and who wants to make an impact in a growing suburban community of Charlotte.
Details about the opportunity include:
- General surgery experience preferred
- We service the Lake Norman community including Cornelius, Huntersville, Davidson and Mooresville with two practice locations – one At AH University City and one at AH Lake Norman
- Position would be primarily based at AH Lake Norman
- Looking for proactive surgeon who is ready to engage with referring physicians
- Shared call 1:4
- Lake Norman practice and Hospital opening 2025
- Bread and butter general surgery and endoscopy
