REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for warehouse optimization to include layout and infrastructure projects and process improvements in Honickman Warehouse Operations in partnership with site leadership:
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within warehouse operations.
Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize warehouse space utilization and efficiency
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline processes and improve operational performance and productivity measurements
Define and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives aimed at improving workflow, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehouse management and operations.
Identify cost savings opportunities across the region/enterprise
Colloborate with site leadership to build and optimize staffing levels based on productivity initiatives and sales volume adjustments (Annual Operating Plan construct)
Automation project analysis and implementation strategic
Act as a liaison between operations, IT, and other departments to drive alignment and facilitate effective communication.
Partner with Facilities Engineering on occupancy cost management
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, related field or equivalent experience
4 years' experience in operations, logistics, and warehousing
3 years' experience in data analysis and SQL
Hands on experience with WMS and ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in industrial engineering or related field
Experience working in a union environment
Experience working with an automated system.
COMPENSATION RANGE: Potential earning is from $123,800.00 to $159,700.00 annually
