Matalco is a leading producer of high-quality aluminum slab and billet for the rolling, extrusion, and forging industries using world-class re-melting technology.
Our facility in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is currently searching for Production team members to join our team of hardworking, fun, and committed employees.
The Production Team Member loads, melts and transfers scrap and raw materials to achieve the correct customer chemistry, transfers and casts molten into appropriate sizes and lengths to achieve the correct customer specification, stores PPE properly, and keeps working area clean.
Team members in this position will be exposed to extreme ambient temperatures depending on the season.
Qualified candidates must have the following experience:
· Forklift Operation
· Front Loader
· Skidsteer
· Overhead Crane
· Lift 25 Pounds
· Excellent safety record
· Work 12-hour (2-2-3) schedule
