What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard (Seasonal) position at Candlewood East Marina?
Candlewood East Marina Club is looking for a Lifeguard to join our team and help ensure the safety of our members. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in water safety and rescue techniques, and be able to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the waterfront area, enforcing waterfront/Candlewood East rules, and providing basic first aid when necessary.
Must be Red Cross Certified for Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer First Aid and Waterfront Skills
Waterfront Skills Mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Monitor activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain order in the pool area.
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
- This position starts Memorial Day Weekend and goes through Labor Day Weekend.
- Must work 15-25 hours a week.
- Weekend availability required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
